Kyle Isaacs, EPDH (Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist)

Kyle has been a dental hygienist for more than 30 years working in private dentistry and public health. For the past 5 years she has been working as an expanded practice dental hygienist (EPDH) in a variety of settings providing assessments, fluoride varnish, and sealants in schools in Linn and Benton counties as well as providing preventive dental hygiene services for residents of long-term care facilities, adult foster care homes, memory care facilities, and private residences. She loves helping people learn how to get and stay healthy by finding what will work best for them to help prevent oral disease. Kyle is passionate about increasing access to dental care for the under served and she has a knack for connecting with patients and co-workers, building relationships and trust. She is passionate about helping others and not only volunteers her time but has also organized several oral cancer screening days at various health fairs. In addition to her clinical work, Kyle has authored more than nine articles in a professional dental hygiene magazine and has been a speaker the past three years for dental groups across the country. Kyle loves to inspire others to help make a difference in as many lives as possible. If she does not know something, Kyle will research and figure it out so that she can provide the best care possible for her patients.
Kyle and her husband Joseph moved to Oregon 5 1/2 years ago setting up a small organic farm in hopes of being more self-sufficient. Between the two of them, they have four children; all grown and living in California, Oregon, and Montana. Originally from Wilmington, DE, Kyle attended dental hygiene school in Boston and then moved cross country and has lived and worked in California, Alaska, and Oregon. She earned her bachelors degree in health science in 2013 and was awarded the Sunstar Award of Distinction for dental hygiene in 2017 and the American Dental Hygienists Association's Master Clinician Award in 2018. Kyle loves the outdoors, hiking, gardening, skiing, knitting, sewing, reading, and being with her family.
