Tracey Braden, LPC

Tracy Braden is licensed professional counselor who loves helping clients work through struggles to find new and better versions of themselves. She believes that adversity, if handled properly, can be the leverage needed for a more fulfilling life. She works to co-create therapeutic relationships with clients to explore what's working and would could be better.
Tracy considers herself a strengthens-based, solution-focused practitioner. Her approach relies upon cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and positive psychology. She incorporates in mindfulness, mind-body practices and is doing continuing education on brain science and contemplative practice through the Nalanda Institute in San Francisco. She is also working on certification as I-Rest level one teacher, a trauma-informed treatment, based on the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra.
In addition to her work in mental health, Tracy has been an academic adviser, college professor and life and career coach. She truly enjoys being with people and loves to see the transformative effect counseling can have.
