Lauren Buse, DNP, FNP-C (she/her)

Dr. Lauren Buse is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C). She graduated with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Nebraska Methodist College in 2021 and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2015. Additionally, she has completed advanced strangulation training, received her Oregon Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (OR-SANE) certification, and is a certified SANE through the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) for both adults/adolescents and pediatrics (SANE-A, SANE-P).  

Dr. Buse started at Oregon Integrated Health in August of 2023. Her experience includes 1 ½ years as a nurse practitioner (NP) at Kids FIRST child advocacy center (CAC) in Eugene, OR; 5 years as a registered nurse (RN) at Project Harmony CAC in Omaha, NE; 2 years as an inpatient psychiatric RN; 3 ½ years serving a hospital system in Omaha as a forensic nurse examiner (FNE), responding to sexual assault, intimate partner violence, human trafficking, and elder abuse. 

Outside of her unique experience working with survivors of assault and violence, Dr. Buse has specialized training and interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ population.
