Nora Abbas, Naturopathic Doctor

Nora Abbas, ND - Oregon Integrated Health, Portland.

Nora Abbas graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, OR. She has strong interests in gastroenterology, family medicine, nutrition, sports and preventative medicine. She has extensive mentorship training in mental health, IV therapy, ENT and women's health and has additional post-grad training in Ayurvedic nutrition and as a community health worker.

Dr. Abbas was born on the east coast and raised overseas, which she believes helped her become equipped to work with and support the care needs of individuals of all backgrounds. She is a current board member of the Florida Naturopathic Physicians Association to aid in the advocacy of Naturopathic Licensing in her home state and is also a current board member and registered physician of the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.

Dr. Abbas returned to the US to obtain her undergraduate degrees from Florida Institute of Technology in molecular and pre-medical biology. While attending FIT, she received recognition for her undergraduate research on cardiac gap junction cells, which prompted her to continue to pursue a medical degree.

She strongly values the six pillars of naturopathy and doesn’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach in when it comes to medicine. Dr. Abbas believes every person has unique needs that often require individualized treatment and monitoring. She works with patients to create realistic long-term goals and prevention plans.

On her free time, she loves traveling, hiking, baking and snowboarding at Timberline.
